Cultural Life of the University and Students' Leisure Activities

On October 10th 1995 the Department for upbringing of students and work with the University social organizations was founded. The department is represented by the vice-deans of upbringing activity from all faculties, group instructors, members of students self conducting authorities, social organizations and club councils. Created structures provide complex solution of upbringing process problems. The department introduces the items and requirements of the developed conception of the upbringing process, carries out and controls youth programs, collaborates with different social organizations such as "Prosvita", "Plast", "Vertep", "Studentske Bratstvo" (Students' Brotherhood).

Different discussions, conferences, debates, round tables, evening parties, presentations, meetings with prominent artists, public and political figures and representatives of legal institutions become popular among the students. Popularization of healthy way of life providing the unity of political, cultural, national, patriotic, law and ethical education are carried out by the department.

Informational block is functioning at the University. Amateur talents societies are organized at the faculties. The work with local cultural establishments and regional youth organizations is set up here.Upbringing process is fundamentally united with educational process acquiring national and world culture. The complex system of national -patriotic upbringing under the conditions of multistaged education form is based on the University activity for the first time in Ukraine. This form includes the specialists' training from the Worker to the Master Degree and offers theoretical foundations of the upbringing taking into account the age, psychological and personal peculiarities.
